Who we are

Country Dairy sells ghee and cold-pressed oils from Tanakpur, Champawat, Uttarakhand 262309. The registered entity is Country Dairy, a sole proprietorship of Vinod Chand, GSTIN 05AJSPC9381K1ZN, FSSAI licence 12624004000016. You can reach us at info@countrydairy.in or on +91 99978 01112, daily between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM.

What we collect

Only what an order needs, and nothing we cannot explain:

• Your email or mobile number. Used to sign you in to your account, to send your order confirmation, and to reach you about a delivery.
• Your name, to address you and the parcel.
• Delivery addresses, including the one you enter at checkout. Each order keeps its own copy, so a later change never rewrites where a past parcel went.
• Order history — what you bought, what you paid, and the invoice.
• Basic usage, such as which pages were opened, counted by Shopify, the platform this store runs on. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

What we never see

Your card and bank details. Payments are taken in Shopify's checkout by our payment provider. Card numbers, UPI PINs and net-banking credentials are entered there and never reach us or our staff. We receive only the result of the payment, the amount, and the address you gave for delivery.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Who else handles it

• Shopify — hosts this store and its checkout, and stores order and account data on our behalf.
• Cashfree Payments — our payment provider, which takes the payment inside the checkout.
• Our shipping partner and the courier it books — receive the name, address and phone number needed to hand over a parcel, and nothing else.
• Judge.me — runs our product reviews. After a delivery it may email you once to ask for a review; if you write one, it keeps the name you give, your email, your review and any photos or video you add.
• Shopify Inbox — runs the chat on this site. It keeps the messages you send us and, if you give it, your email so we can reply.
• WhatsApp, where you have asked for updates there, so we can send dispatch and tracking messages.

Some of these store data outside India. Indian law permits that, and it does not change what we may do with your information or your right to have it deleted.

How long we keep it

Invoices and the order records attached to them are kept for six years, because GST law requires it and we are not free to delete them sooner. Everything else is kept while your account is open, and goes when you close it.

Deleting your account

Email info@countrydairy.in from the address on the account and we will close it. Your name, email, phone and saved addresses are erased.

Past invoices survive, with the street address and phone stripped out of them. We are required to keep the tax record; we are not required to keep you in it.

Cookies

This store runs on Shopify, which sets the cookies the cart and checkout need in order to work — so your basket is remembered and a checkout can be completed. Analytics cookies are set only where the law allows, and you can refuse them in the cookie banner where one is shown. Shopify lists every cookie it uses at shopify.com/legal/cookies.

We add no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies of our own.

Children

This shop is not for children. You must be 18 or over to hold an account or place an order, and we do not knowingly collect anything about anyone younger. If you believe a child has given us their details, write to info@countrydairy.in and we will delete them.

Your rights, and how to complain

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@countrydairy.in and we will answer within 24 to 48 hours.
